WATCH CARE ADVICES

The following practical tips will help protect your Panerai during everyday use.

Always rinse the watch under running lukewarm water after swimming in the sea (saltwater).

To preserve the leather strap we recommend avoiding the following situations: contact with water or exposure to strong humidity; prolonged exposure to strong sunlight; cosmetics and oily materials.

Avoid vibrations and impacts on the watch (golf or tennis, mountain biking...) Shocks might damage the external parts but also the precision of the movement.

Ensure that all moving parts are in their standard position (closed) before you use the watch in water.

Magnetic fields can affect the precision of your watch.
If you notice a dysfunction, bring your watch to one of your authorized Panerai dealer.

Avoid extreme temperatures above 50°C or 122°F below 1°C or 34°F or extreme temperature changes.

If you have a watch that you are not wearing, be sure to wind it at least once a month. This slows down the ageing process of the oils and lubrication.

To clean the cases and metal bracelets and water-resistant use a toothbrush with soapy water and a soft cloth for drying. For composite watches: chemical products such as alcohol or benzine are forbidden.

Avoid direct contact with chemical products such as solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetic products etc, since they may damage the bracelet, the case or the gaskets.
